Smart Biz is a full service printer, which means we can do just about anything. Our job is to make you look good on paper. Quality printing can help your business make a lasting impression on your customers and clients. Smart Biz presently has the vast facilities to undertake commercial printing for all the segments of the industry.

Offset printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then applied to paper by pressing the paper against the intermediary surface.

Compared to other printing methods, offset printing is best suited for cost-effectively producing large volumes of high quality prints as the actual printing process is relatively inexpensive.

Our offset printers can print anything on paper. We have no minimum quantity requirements and no restriction to paper texture and weight. In contrast, conventional offset printing needs to be printed in large quantity in order to be cost effective.

We undertake and execute orders to produce the following in our diverse facility plant:

Our common range of Offset Printing products:

Dangler is a literary term meaning plot-lines that are metaphorically left to "dangle" or "hang". A dangler, or dangling plotline, is a plot device in fiction where a plotline is forgotten, phased out and eventually dropped, thus a resolution is never achieved.

Although dangling plot-lines can occur in all forms of media, they typically appear in comic books, movies and book sequels, where the original writer or creative team can be replaced.
6. Shelf Talker
Shelf Talker
A sign or card attached to a shelf in a retail store that calls shoppers' attention to the nearby shelved product. For example, a card with “new" in bright red letters might be used to identify a new product.

Has any research been done to indicate the effectiveness of shelf talkers? If effective, this seems an inexpensive method for spurring sales.

Research shows shelf talkers are the most powerful influence on increasing a product's sales once it is on the shelf. The power of shelf talkers is so great that major retailers generally restrict them to major brands such as Kraft, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, and Johnson & Johnson, and to themselves. Smaller companies can work through this challenge by providing in-shelf, clip-strip, power-wings/end-panel, and floor displays. Target prohibits all of these to maintain its cool, uncluttered image.
7. Bunting
Bunting
Bunting (or bunt) was originally a specific type of lightweight worsted wool fabric generically known as tammy, manufactured from the turn of the 17th century, and used for making ribbons and flags, including signal flags for the Royal Navy.

Today, "bunting" is a term for any festive decorations made of fabric, or of plastic, paper or even cardboard in imitation of fabric. Typical forms of bunting are strings of colorful triangular flags and lengths of fabric in the colors of national flags gathered and draped into swags or pleated into fan shapes.

The term bunting is also used to refer to a collection of flags, and particularly those of a ship. The officer responsible for raising signals using flags is known as "bunts", a term still used for a ship's communications officer.

In British English, the word may also denote a preprinted journal format.

Today the term is generally employed for personal diaries, normally intended to remain private or to have a limited circulation amongst friends or relatives. Envelope
An envelope is a common packaging item, usually made of thin flat material. It is designed to contain a flat object, such as a letter or card.

Traditional envelopes are made from sheets of paper cut to one of three shapes: a rhombus, a short-arm cross, or a kite. These shapes allow for the creation of the envelope structure by folding the sheet sides around a central rectangular area. In this manner, a rectangle-faced enclosure is formed with an arrangement of four flaps on the reverse side.

When the folding sequence is such that the last flap to be closed is on a short side it is referred to in commercial envelope manufacture as a '"pocket"' - a format frequently employed in the packaging of small quantities of seeds. Although in principle the flaps can be held in place by securing the topmost flap at a single point, generally they are pasted or gummed together at the overlaps. They are most commonly used for enclosing and sending mail through a prepaid-postage postal system.
